      Thank you for considering Alvin Street-Wise Driving School (view map) for all your driver educational needs. We have been the leading provider of driver training for teens, adults, and seniors for the past 9 years. Our school is committed to providing our students with superior, up-to-date driving and classroom instruction certified by The Texas Education Agency. We employ friendly, patient, punctual and well-trained male and female driving instructors who pride themselves in delivering high quality personal service to our students. All of our instructors are licensed by the State of Texas collectively bringing over 60 years of teaching experience to our school.

      Our Driver Education program consists of 32 hours of in-class instruction and 14 hours of behind-the-wheel driving instruction. The classroom portion of our program meets Monday - Friday for two hours/day for the three week period. We offer two class times to choose from: 3:30- 5:30 p.m. or 5:30-7:30 p.m. (summer schedule 8-10 a.m. or 2-4 p.m. or 6-8 p.m.). The cost of our entire program is $345 and a payment plan is available.
    

      At Alvin Street-Wise Driving School, our dedicated team of experts deliver the best learning experience possible in an atmosphere that is informative, creative, and friendly. We utilize late-model (automatic, 4&6 cylinder, four-door) vehicles for our driver training. All of our cars are extremely easy to drive and the BEST choice for teaching basic driving skills while keeping our student's safety in mind.

      Learning to drive will be easy and enjoyable with us. We offer flexible scheduling seven days a week and are conveniently located within easy walking distance from Alvin High School. We also offer transportation to our school for students attending Santa Fe and Manvel High Schools who are enrolled in our 3:30-5:30 p.m. classes. As an added bonus for taking drivers education with us, your student will be eligible to receive a 10% discount on their insurance premiums.

     Alvin Street-Wise Driving School teaches the Drug and Alcohol Awareness Program (DADAP). The certificate affords our students an additional 5% insurance discount.
